All valves are made with front and back seating (*). The special polymer material rings provided at both ends facilitate positive shut-off with hand tightening. There is no need to use wrench etc. to tighten the valves which can damage the seats.

Advantages :-

• Leak free sealing with very low hand pressure because of the polymer seal rings.
• Easy maintenance due to the back-seating. Gland packing can be replaced with system under pressure.
• Re-Metallising with white-metal is not required.

Inspection & Testing :-

All the valve components are inspected during production. Tests on all assembled valves are carried out in compliance with IS: 11132-1985 and supplementary agreements. They are tested with regard to their function, safety and tightness. Supplementary acceptance tests for other inspection agencies can be offered if required.
